Energy and Sustainability Project Manager

The Energy and Sustainability Project Manager is responsible for advancing RAMJO’s three primary roles by ensuring value for RAMJO member councils and state agency partners through management and coordination of the Joint Organisation Net Zero Acceleration (JONZA) program.

The role includes, but is not limited to developing a Project Management Plan for JONZA, drawing off the RAMJO Regional Energy Strategy, and new goals and focus areas as identified by member councils. This will include typical project management duties such as identifying and managing project risks, key milestones, reporting and project outcomes, working with member councils to ensure project deliverables are accomplished.

This is a full-time fixed term for 12 months, with possibility of extension based on funding, at $116,812 per year, plus 11.5% employer superannuation contribution, with kilometer allowance or work vehicle provided, as required.  This can be a remote/hybrid position for anyone within the RAMJO footprint.

Regional Procurement Project Manager

The Regional Procurement Project Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating the procurement activities of various projects, including the procurement of personnel for the delivery of shared services across participating member councils.

This role requires a strategic thinker with strong relationship-building skills to identify and realise opportunities. It’s ideal for those looking to enhance their procurement expertise while contributing to broader economic development in the RAMJO region. By developing a Regional Procurement Strategy, this role will leverage opportunities aligned with State and Federal objectives, such as the development of the South-West Renewable Energy Zone, to drive meaningful impact.

This is a part-time fixed term for 12 months, with possibility of extension based on funding, at $110,000 per year, pro-rata 0.6 FTE, plus 11.5% employer superannuation contribution, with kilometer allowance or work vehicle provided, as required. This can be a remote/hybrid position for anyone within the RAMJO footprint.
