With the easing of restrictions the NSW Government and Safe Work Australia are continually updating their advice to businesses.
Information to assist businesses with protecting their customers and staff is on the main NSW Government site which includes a link to the Safe Work NSW Hub.
Businesses should be referred to Safe Work NSW in the first instance, with NSW consistent with federal advice 95% of the time.
Safe Work Australia has produced a guide on how to determine what is ‘reasonably practical’ for business to meet a health and safety duty and its site has guidance for a number of industries including aged care, agriculture, food processing and manufacturing, hospitality, retail, road freight and trades.
